DTM Series Connectors

Deutsch DTM Series connectors are compact sealed rectangular connectors designed for signal, sensor and lower-current wiring where installation space is limited. The DTM Series commonly uses Size 20 contacts and is available in a range of plug and receptacle housings, position counts and keyed configurations.

Use the filters below to narrow the range by number of positions, connector style, contact type, keying and mounting configuration to identify the correct DTM housing before selecting compatible contacts, wedgelocks and related assembly components.

If you need a general-purpose connector with larger Size 16 contacts, browse the Deutsch DT Series. For higher-current circuits using the larger Size 12 contact system, explore the DTP Series. You can also compare all three in our DT vs DTM vs DTP guide.

Choose the Right Deutsch DTM Series Connector

Choosing the right Deutsch DTM connector starts with the number of circuits required and the mating configuration. Select the position count first, then confirm whether you need a plug or receptacle housing, the required contact type, keying and mounting arrangement.

DTM Series housings commonly use Size 20 contacts, but the exact contact and wire compatibility should always be checked against the individual terminal specification. Once the housing is selected, complete the assembly with compatible contacts and terminals, wedgelocks and any required seals and accessories.

DTM is especially useful for compact signal and sensor connections where a smaller connector footprint is important. For broader technical background, read DTM Series Connectors Explained. If you are still choosing between DTM, DT and DTP, use the DT vs DTM vs DTP comparison guide.
