Wedge Locks

Deutsch wedgelocks are secondary locking components used to secure contacts inside compatible connector housings after assembly. The correct wedgelock must match the connector family, number of positions and pin- or socket-side configuration.

Filter by Compatible Series, Number of Positions, Side / Interface and Keying to identify the right product, as visually similar wedgelocks are not necessarily interchangeable.

If you already know the connector housing, use its series, position count and contact side to identify the matching wedgelock. For more detailed selection guidance, read our Deutsch Wedgelock Guide.

How to Choose the Correct Deutsch Wedgelock

Choosing the correct Deutsch wedgelock starts with the connector family and housing configuration. First identify whether the connector belongs to DT, DTM, DTP, DTV, DRC or DRB, then match the number of positions and the required pin-side or socket-side interface.

Keying can also matter on some configurations, so a wedgelock with the correct cavity count may still be incompatible if the keyed variant does not match the housing. Use the collection filters to narrow the range before confirming the exact part number.

Examples include W-series wedgelocks for DT connectors, WM-series parts for DTM connectors, WP-series parts for DTP connectors and WV-series parts for DTV connectors. For step-by-step selection guidance, see the Deutsch Wedgelock Guide.
